Message From Mrs Dance

I hope you have all had a positive week.

This week we were delighted to welcome Jo Bradshaw into school. Her sessions with children and staff were all focused around our MIRROR values and inspiring us all to summit our own personal Everests. It was a fantastic day; the children were inspired, and it was wonderful to see the children’s responses to the sessions. If you would like to find out more about Jo and the work and goals that she has achieved, please click on the following link: Jo Bradshaw.

Pupils across the school have been working incredibly hard, and staff are very proud of the progress that all of the children have made.

In Owlets today, we celebrated lots of excellent examples of children exemplifying our MIRROR values, well done to everyone who received certificates in assembly.

Thank you again for your ongoing support. We appreciate everything you do to help make our school community thrive.

Wishing you all a restful weekend.

Rachel Dance

Injured Bird

Many of you may have seen this rook with an injured wing on the school field.  This morning, Mr Baker took the bird to Emily's Animals Wildlife Rescue, who hope they will be able to help the rook heal and then release it back into the wild.

South Africa Class Despite the weather, our Year 6 pupils explored our forest grounds to find resources which could be used for their groups art design. The pupils demonstrated such an open-minded attitude to think outside the box. They were incredibly proud of their final creations and rightly so...Mrs Marta would be proud!

Wow - what an Incredible day! We had the privilege of hosting the inspirational Jo Bradshaw in school today. Jo hosted assemblies with children from Years 1-6, as well as a staff CPD session, sharing her incredible stories of adventure and achievements. Jo has managed to complete the superb achievement of climbing Earth's Seven Summits - reaching the peaks of the world's highest mountains...including Mount Everest twice! Jo brought to life ALL of our MIRROR Values and created a buzz around school. Some of our youngest pupils took it upon themselves to create postcards which exemplified "their Everest" setting their sights on a challenge they want to complete. Thank you Jo for such an inspirational day
