Message From Mrs Dance

Finally, the sun has arrived!

This week at school we have marked Walk to School Week. This week is an opportunity for us to remind the children of the mental and physical benefits of walking or wheeling to school, as well as reminding them of road safety and the positive impact that active travel can have on our planet.

I am delighted to announce that Mr. Stott has become a dad! Last Sunday Mr Stott and his wife welcomed a beautiful baby girl into their family. Mum, daughter and Mr Stott are really well and enjoying their new adventure. I am sure that you will all join me in congratulating them and wishing them well.

Over the past few weeks, we have had the pleasure of welcoming our new children and families to EYFS for some transition stay and play sessions and the Teddy Bears picnic. These events have been a great way for the children, their families and staff to get to know one another; welcoming them into our Vigo community.

When we return to school after the half-term break, our two halls will look different. As part of our ongoing site development strategy, the halls are being given a paint refresh. It will be a great start to the final half term with a positive refresh!

Wishing you all a wonderful half-term. We look forward to welcoming you and the children back to school on Monday the 1st of June.

Rachel Dance
