Message From Mrs Dance
As we reach the end of a busy half-term, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on some of the things that have been happening across school and, as always, to thank you for your continued support.
This term, I have had the pleasure of visiting and monitoring classes across the school, with a particular focus on high-quality first teaching and our MATCH framework. It has been fantastic to see the children engaged in their learning and to see consistent approaches being embedded across our classrooms. I am incredibly proud of the hard work of both our children and staff and their continued commitment to making learning the very best it can be.
There has also been plenty to celebrate! Lots of Dojo points have been awarded, milkshakes have been enjoyed and many MIRROR value cards have been received by children across the school. It is always lovely to see our children being recognised for the positive choices they make, the effort they put into their learning and the way they demonstrate our school values.
Unfortunately, the Great British weather had other ideas for our planned time capsule burial! We have therefore had to postpone this for the time being. We are looking forward to completing the burial when conditions allow and marking this special moment properly after half-term.
Please can I remind everyone to park safely and considerately around the school at drop-off and collection times. We want to maintain positive relationships with our neighbours while, most importantly, ensuring that our children and families can arrive at and leave school safely. Thank you to everyone who continues to be mindful of this.
As we finish the half-term, I would like to thank our children, staff, parents and carers for everything they contribute to our school community. Your support and encouragement make such a difference.
I hope all of our families have a happy, restful and enjoyable half-term break, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back refreshed and ready for another busy half-term on Monday 2nd November.
