THRIVE and Emotional Wellbeing

THRIVE at Vigo

We are very lucky at Vigo to have a nurture room named 'The Maldives' and the name of this room really does reflect the tranquility in here. The Maldives is run by our ELSA staff and they use a THRIVE approach to support children in their social and emotional development. The children who attend session in The Maldives love going there and many staff claim the Maldives to be one of their favourite spaces in the school. We really value the importance of educating the whole child at Vigo and advocate social and emotional needs as a fundamental in helping our children to THRIVE and achieve.
