COVID-19 Coronavirus Update Thursday 19th March 2020
Dear Parents and Carers,
We are now aware that children who have a parent in the following professions will be able to continue to attend school:
• NHS staff
• Police staff
• Fire service
• Delivery drivers
The government are not releasing their full list of ‘key workers’ until this afternoon. If when we receive this list there are other professions to be added we will send another communication.
If you believe you are covered by one of these professions attached to this letter is a form for you to provide us with the following details by 11am on Friday 20th March. We understand the timeframe on this is tight, but as I am sure you are aware, this is down to the timeline set by the government.

We understand that school closures and the wider issues with COVID-19 may be placing a financial strain on families. We are here to help where we can; as a school we can issue Food Bank vouchers and we are currently trying to work out if there is a way we can provide supermarket vouchers to families of children who in normal circumstances would have received a means tested Free School Meal. Please do ask if you need help. Even after Friday we are there via email or phone for all of our families, even if it is just that you need someone to talk to in these hard times.
